The Limagrain lab is back and you’re invited!

To our maize trial plots at Emmetts Farm, Umberleigh EX37 9AG –

Bring along your own samples to be analysed too!

We welcome you to join us for our open day at Emmetts Farm by kind invitation of G F & P Warne & Son and Graham Parnell of Limagrain. This year our trials include Pinnacle, Dignity, Ambition, Skipper and a potential new variety. 

With LG LAB, the nutritional value of the forage can be analysed directly on farm in just a few seconds. Different criteria are analysed such as dry matter, energy, starch content, protein content etc. This innovation allows you to confirm choice of varieties for your farm, to optimize your harvest date and to secure the quality of your fodder.

We welcome you to bring along your own samples. We have *FREE hats to give away as well as the usual predicted harvest date and pre-harvest analysis. Varieties are not restricted and can be Limagrain or non-Limagrain.  For a sample, all we need are 4 whole plants from any one field, cut at normal harvester height. We will then shred them for the lab on site.
